High Teas at Garden of HOPE
October Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th 2023
Held over 2 days, these delightful High Teas are set by the edge of Lake Hawthorn overlooking the beautiful Gardens. This is our annual event held in the peak of Spring with the flowers back in full bloom and new fresh green leaves on the trees after the winter chills – it’s when the gardens look their best in the year. Homemade food served High Tea style, with a range of special sandwiches, Arancini balls and savouries, plus slices, truffles, sweets and our Cara Tara cupcake special. We bring out all the beautiful old china cups, saucers, teapots, teaspoons, etc., with unlimited Coffee and Tea plus a special Punch.
Why not spoil yourself to a treat and dress up if you like too…men are welcome also.
Any funds raised from this goes towards helping to develop the Garden of Hope as a great family place for the community.
COST: $35
Pre – Booking and payment preferred for catering purposes
We can also cater for special dietary needs by prior arrangement

We have 3,600 eggs!
We have a great selection of games for all ages and whole families – in most games every player gets an egg, winners get extra!
GAMES include:
Egg and Spoon race
Easter Box team race,
Egg Musical game,
Egg Mouthful,
Egg matching game,
Egg plate race,
Easter Egg Hop, and maybe one or two others!
We will have several games running at the same time, so the children can go to another game once they have completed one.
After the games we will start the Egg Hunt around 11:30 by age groups.
Its a great family time with food and drinks available.
COST: $3 child
$4 adult
We are charging slightly extra to cover our costs to purchase Eggs and games.
Just turn up and pay as you enter.
A small Mildura Rural City Council grant has been kindly donated and will cover some costs
All parking is to be on the property over the other side – it will be well signed posted.
